According to the best information obtained,this is the line of descendants. William Goddard, of London, m.Elizabeth Miles about 1650. He came to America in - 1665, and settledin Watertown, where he was famous as a teacher. His three oldest sonswere born in London, though he had four children born in Watertown.His youngest son, Josiah, born about 1672, married 1696, Rachel Davis,of Roxbury. He died in Watertown, 1720.
